Grading and Drainage Plan: Indicates the proposed shape
of the land by utilizing contour mapping that defines specific grade changes. The proposed shape of the land will also
define stormwater drainage patterns that must be taken into account in order to capture or divert the stormwater runoff to minimize
adverse impacts to natural and man-made features.

Sedimentation and Erosion Control Plan: Used in conjunction with the Grading
and Drainage Plan to minimize the migration of sediment on the project site by use of Best Management Practices (BMP). North
Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources (NCDENR) requires a property owner to submit a Sedimentation and Erosion
Control Plan for review and approval prior to disturbing 1-Acre or more of land. Many local town or county land
development boards have stricter regulations that require an approved Sedimentation and Erosion Control Plan for a disturbed
area of 0.5-Acre or greater.

Water Utility Plan: Indicates waterline route shown in plan view and profile view.
Plan also illustrates all proposed water utility features such as: fire hydrants, fittings, valves, water meters, taps and any
required booster pump stations. Community or non-transient non-community public water system construction, alteration or expansion
requires advanced approval by the North Carolina Division of Environmental Health's Public Water Supply Section (PWSS) prior to construction.

Sanitary
Sewer Utility Plan: Indicates sewerline route shown in plan view and profile view. Plan also illustrates all proposed sanitary
sewer utility features such as: manholes, cleanouts and taps. Sewer systems may consist of gravity mains, force mains
and pump stations used for the purpose of conveying wastewater to a designated wastewater treatment facility. These systems include
“Alternative” sewers such as pressure sewers, vacuum sewers, septic tank/effluent pump (STEP) systems, or other alternate sewer systems
that discharge to another system. Permits are issued by the North Carolina Division of Water Quality (DWQ).
Roadway Design Plan: Indicates
roadway route shown in plan view and profile view. Plan also illustrates roadway grade and geometric design for safe sight distances
and safe stopping distances. A roadway design plan is required by most local subdivision ordinances.
Site Layout Plan: Indicates
site plan dimensions used for construction layout.

Construction Details: Used to indicate a higher level of detail for various
site appurtences including dimensions and specifications.
NFIP Flood Elevation Certificate: Used to provide elevation information
necessary to ensure compliance with community floodplain management ordinances, building codes and to determine flood insurance premium
rate. Also used to support a request for a Letter of Map Amentment (LOMA) or a Letter of Map Revision based on Fill (LOMR-F).
